- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., English, Communications, Business) or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 8 years’ proposal/technical writing experience, with a focus on federal government contracts
- Writing experience for the Department of Defense (DoD) that includes aircraft support
- Experience with aviation terminology preferred
- Demonstrated success in writing and winning government proposals
- Strong understanding of federal government procurement processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (primarily Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and SharePoint for proposal management
- Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple proposals concurrently under tight deadlines
- Familiarity with Shipley proposal methodologies, APMP certification, or other industry-recognized certifications is preferred
- This position may require periodic travel to attend client meetings, proposal kick-offs, or industry events
