Senior Aircraft Painter- Paint (Contract)- Columbus, MS.
Requires a minimum of six (6) years of experience in aviation OR automotive painting. Candidates must be proficient in bodywork and painting with base coat / clear coat systems as well as have the ability to read and interpret sketches and diagrams.
- Perform preparation for painting to include; repairs, sanding, taping, and surface preparation
- Perform initial inspection of components and parts to ensure all defects are noted prior to painting
- Perform stripe layout as specified by the customer
- Use a variety of standard and specialized hand tools, power equipment measuring devices, and test equipment
- Assure that completed work complies with FAA regulations, customer requirements, and company specifications
- Follow OSHA, safety and environmental regulations
- Must be able to support and train other employees with technical knowledge and skills
- Must maintain a clean working environment
