Job Requirements:

Position ResponsibilitiesThe selected candidate will be responsible for mixing, applying, and selecting paints to original colors or match color specifications according to the customer and engineering planning. Basic Qualifications(Required Skills/Experience)
*High school diploma or GED.
*Ability to read and understand blueprints, service bulletins, manufacturing manuals, etc.
*Ability to work with various types of aircraft paints and coatings.
*Follow instructions to mark fabricated components using silk screen, stencil, or pad printing methods.
*Apply knowledge of pigments, oils, solvents, etc., for mixing paints to the desired specifications. Job Duties
*Select and determine the proper type of paint materials, reducers, and viscosities for articles to be finished to the desired thickness and quality.
*Operate and maintain automatic and non-automatic painting, spraying, and dipping equipment.
*Clean parts using solvents, aqueous cleaners, or abrasive blasting methods.
*Mask/unmask painted parts, apply localized tin plating, and perform light mechanical assembly.
*Uses a spray gun for stenciling all kinds of surfaces or manufacturing articles with material such as ink, enamels, lacquer, paint, etc.
