Role Overview
As the Digital Business Partner for HR at IndiGo, you will lead the digital transformation of Human Resource operations by driving the strategy, implementation, and optimization of SAP SuccessFactors and other HR platforms. This leadership role requires deep expertise in enterprise HR systems, strong stakeholder management, and a proven ability to deliver scalable, compliant, and innovative solutions while leading a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- HR Transformation & Business Partnership• Serve as the strategic technology advisor to the HR leadership team, aligning digital initiatives with business and people objectives.• Drive automation, standardization, and process excellence across HR domains including Core HR, Recruitment, Onboarding, Learning, Performance, Compensation, and Employee Experience.• Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, data privacy, and statutory regulations.• Monitor system performance, user adoption, and drive continuous improvement and employee engagement through digital tools.
- SAP SuccessFactors & HR Platform Leadership• Lead the end-to-end implementation, enhancement, and governance of SAP SuccessFactors and related HR applications.• Oversee the HR technology landscape architecture including system design, integrations, and data flows across modules and third-party applications.• Collaborate with Security, and Infrastructure teams to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and uptime.• Manage change control, transport management, and release cycles across SAP environments (DEV, QA, PROD).• Ensure master data governance, accuracy, and compliance with SAP and HR best practices.
- SAP SF Strategy & Roadmap• Develop and maintain a multi-year SAP SF (HR) strategy and roadmap aligned with organizational growth and workforce goals.• Lead strategic planning for system upgrades, new module rollouts (like People Analytics, TIH), and integrations with other digital platforms.• Evaluate emerging SAP technologies (e.g., AI/ML for HR insights, BTP extensions, chatbots, digital assistants) for business relevance.• Establish governance frameworks for HR platform usage, customization, and lifecycle management.• Partner with enterprise architecture, HR, and digital leadership to ensure long-term scalability, compliance, and innovation.
- People Leadership & Team Development• Lead and mentor a team of HR technology professionals, project managers, and analysts.• Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous learning within the digital HR team.• Set clear goals, provide feedback, and support professional development to build future-ready HR technology capabilities.• Collaborate with HR and Digital leadership to ensure seamless delivery of business outcomes through technology.
- Integration & Ecosystem Management• Ensure seamless integration of SuccessFactors with other enterprise platforms (e.g., Airline Ops BI tools, engagement platforms).• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with SAP support, implementation, and integration partners.• Lead cross-functional workshops to gather requirements, define solutions, and ensure alignment between HR and technology teams.
Required Skills & Experience
- 15+ years of experience in digital transformation, HR systems implementation, or enterprise HR technology leadership roles.
- Deep expertise in SAP SuccessFactors/ Workday modules (Employee Central, Recruitment, Onboarding, Learning, Performance, Compensation, Succession).
- Strong understanding of HR processes, compliance frameworks, and enterprise architecture.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale HR technology programs and managing high-performing teams.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication, and leadership skills.
- Preferred Qualifications• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.• SAP certifications (e.g., SuccessFactors Employee Central, Performance & Goals, or Integration Suite) are highly desirable.• Experience in aviation, logistics, or other large-scale enterprise environments is a plus.
