Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Observe appearances and conditions of premises, offices, and equipment ensuring cleanliness at all times.
• Clean and service restrooms daily.
• Gather and dispose of garbage and waste materials by hand or with the use of powered equipment.
• Dusts such items as blinds, furniture, file cabinets, and windowsills using treated dust mittens, cloths, or hand-cleaning items.
• Perform any additional duties as required.
Education and Experience:
• H.S. diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
• A minimum of ten (10) months verifiable previous janitorial experience.
Abilities and Skills:
• Must be able to work independently.
• Attention to detail is imperative.
• Must be able to multi-task.
Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to lift 20-30 pounds.
• Must be able to stand on your feet eight (8) hours per day which includes a considerable about of walking.
