Job Description:

Create and maintain aircraft specifications (regarding optional equipment, design configuration and exterior, etc.) as defined and requested by customers and our sales team. Directly interface with customers to define the configuration of executive aircraft per customer requirements and the purchase agreement and manage the specification meetings for optional equipment, interior and exterior selection. Support the sale/ contract negotiation process using expertise in Embraer’s relevant technical data and write in detail and update technical contractual additions relevant for the particular aircraft. Manage technical modifications as requested by the customer and follow up on product modifications and concessions in contract negotiations, when applicable. Interface with the production team to ensure the aircraft is built and ready per customer specifications and contractual time lines and write in the details of the agreed upon technical specifications in contracts (i.e., turn purely technical information into accurately written technical-contractual information, ensuring the terms are those Embraer can achieve). Support the process for price definition of new options, develop technical material for each product in order to make option sales available and create executive aircraft technical documents to support contracts and sales. Provide our executive clients the specific modifications desired in their executive aircraft, whenever possible. Perform other duties as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field required.
  • 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupations required.
  • Also required is: 3 years of experience: working as sales engineer; supporting sales team in sales campaigns; working as customer support engineer focused on flight operations technical support for Embraer aircraft models Aircraft Models (Phenoms, Legacies and Praetors); knowledge of aircraft performance and/or aircraft systems; Proven business development, sales, or marketing experience; In Sales finance fundamentals (costs, expenses, pricing, and margins); In Market and competition analysis; Data analysis or data sciences (basic / regular); Knowledge in project management; Knowledge of Embraer products and services; In avionics and aircraft maintenance sales; Knowledge of Airworthiness authorities’ regulations; in Sales Force platform use, Pipeline Management, Sales Funnel, and consulting for improvements; in Sales Kit Creation and Management (Aftermarket Sales Hub library). Experience can be concurrent.
