Client Advocate II

Job Description:

DPP is seeking a Client Advocate for an opportunity in Columbia, SC.

Work arrangement:

Hybrid: Onsite 3 days/week and as needed
Hours: 8:30am-5pm (Some overtime, weekends and off hours may be required)
W2 position; 12 months, with possibility of FTE conversion

Position summary:

The Client Advocate is primarily responsible for supporting internal and external customer business needs.
Acts as liaison between clients and the I/S organization, providing business direction to systems and programming areas on work efforts.
Monitors all I/S costs charged to clients to ensure accuracy and cost effectiveness and facilitates communications with the clients regarding costs.
Supports clients through production issues that may be encountered.
The ability to demonstrate flexibility and ease when navigating ambiguous situations is crucial to the success of this position. Being open to receiving feedback from both peers and direct supervisors is just as important.

About the team:

The team includes two Client Advocates who collaborate closely to manage key aspects of Information Systems, including application development, project management, quality assurance, and estimating.
Their primary focus is ensuring internal customer requirements are clearly understood, accurately documented, and that all deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
They also partner with customers to gather and document business needs, translating them into high-level estimates and actionable projects.

Required technologies:

MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Health Insurance knowledge is a plus

Required work experience:

5 years of IT related experience including experience in client relationships, I/S marketing, and process/product improvement.

Required education/equivalencies:

Bachelor’s degree in any major;
OR, Associates degree (any major) plus 2 years of work-related experience;
OR, 4 years of job-related work experience (total 9 years without a degree)
