Airbus Atlantic Portugal is currently recruiting for its site in Santo Tirso - Porto.
The Head of Quality will have the following responsabilites:
- overall compliance of the company against the EASA and EN9100 regulations. He/she is supporting the General Manager to guarantee the subsidiary compliance to Production Organization Approval (POA).

2. Organizational structure & Dimensions:
The job holder is reporting to the General Manager of Airbus Atlantic Portugal.
Workforce: staff of 33 FTE (end 2024).
3. Main activities
The job holder must ensure compliance with external and internal regulations through appropriate monitoring means, among others, surveillances and audits.
The job holder is managing the operational team of quality control. He/she has to propose organizational solutions for his/her team in order to meet the delivery challenges of the plant (On Quality delivery; On Time delivery).
The job holder must provide and follow a development plan with strategic axes for the development of the quality organization & quality performance in accordance with the overall strategic development of the plant.
The job holder is responsible to make the link with the other functions, alertingwhen there are deviations to the standard.
The job holder is responsible for the overall customer satisfaction of the products and services quality.
The job holder is promoting aviation safety in the plant.
The job holder must set up monitoring means to ensure the overall quality performance of the plant. Thus he/she has to assess and implement all initiatives that may reduce the non-quality.

Experience: Overall 7&43; years of experience in industry on operations;
Knowledge of EN9100 standard;
Knowledge of EASA Part 21 G requirements.
Knowledge in Aeronautics industry (best if aerostructure), having an experience as quality
Languages: English and Portuguese
