Role Summary
* In this role, you will perform staking, masking, and conformal coating application on electronic assemblies in a high-reliability environment. This is a manually intensive process requiring strong attention to detail and adherence to established procedures. You will ensure high-quality assembly while documenting work accurately and supporting team efficiency. Education & Job Requirements
* Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
* Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
* Must have the ability to read and interpret BOMs, Work Instructions, Travelers, blueprints, Routers, and Engineering Change Notices, including engineering modifications and designs.
* Must have the ability to work independently and contribute as a team member.
* Must be compliant with divisional ethics and attendance policies.
* Must have the ability to follow written and oral instructions.
* Must be a U.S. Citizen. Preferred Skills/Experience
* Possess an IPC-610 Certification Class III.
* Possess a J-STD-001 Certification. Job Duties/Functions
* Will perform a variety of tasks associated with the application of conformal coating, potting compounds, and adhesives to electronic units in accordance with documented processes and instructions.
* Will perform necessary engineering changes, modifications, and/or repairs as directed.
* Will use specialized hand tools, including torque screwdrivers, dispensing equipment, spray guns, and masking techniques.
* Will correctly generate detailed assembly records documenting actions taken.
* Will accurately record labor.
* Will follow travelers depicting assembly sequences.
* Will interface with quality representatives, manufacturing engineers, and customer representatives to ensure the highest possible quality of manufactured products.
* Will visually inspect work performed by others and self.
* Will maintain expected quality standards.
* Will maintain established ESD, housekeeping, and safe work environment requirements.
* Will train and/or assist other employees as required.
* Will utilize basic PC skills to obtain required documentation and prepare timesheets.
* Will adhere to required Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) procedures for recording, handling, and usage.
* Will perform other duties as directed by supervision.
