Role Summary
* In this role, you will perform fabrication and assembly tasks on mechanical, electro-mechanical, and composite components, including welding, soldering, and sheet metal work. You will install, repair, and modify power plants, drive trains, and avionics systems, prepare test articles, and apply organic coatings. Work is performed from established drawings while following safety procedures. Education & Job Requirements
* You must have
* A high school diploma or GED.
* A minimum of 1 year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Welding experience.
* Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprint drawings.
* Comfortable working at heights using lift equipment. Job Duties & Functions
* You will be able
* Perform machine set-up, machining, and welding set-up.
* Perform welding, sheet metal fabrication, extrusion, tube bending, and fabrication tasks.
* Perform composite lay-up, fabrication, and assembly tasks.
* Assemble precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components.
* Assemble, repair, modify, and install various power plants and drive trains.
* Perform soldering on electronic and avionics products.
* Assemble and install wire harnesses and avionics products.
* Prepare test articles, fixtures, and data collection devices.
* Perform basic organic chemical conversion and paint preparation.
* Apply routine organic coatings for corrosion protection and appearance requirements.
* Work on articles of limited complexity following established drawings and requirements. Physical Requirements

* Lift and handle equipment as required.
