V2X is looking to add an experienced Systems Manager to our growing team. This is a fantastic career opportunity for a proactive, highly motivated individual. This includes support of physical and virtual systems at multiple locations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of desktop support technicians.
- Oversee daily desktop support operations, including desktop hardware and software inventory, issue resolution, and escalation processes.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Lead IT projects related to desktop support, including hardware and software, migrations, and deployments.
- Manage installations, upgrades, and configurations of hardware and software.
- Assess system performance identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Ensure data is handled, transferred, or processed according to legal and company guidelines.
- Prepare and present regular reports on team performance, incident trends, and service metrics.
- Control costs and budgets regarding IT systems. Ensure timely procurement, deployment, and replacement of equipment
- Maintain accurate documentation for all support processes, configurations, and procedures.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field AND 4+ years of IT experience in Information Desktops, Printers, Technology Systems
- Experience leading a Desktop support team is required.
- Ability to implement patching, updates, and rollouts required.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional support experiences
- Ability to effectively manage time
- Energetic, able to switch gears quickly from task to task
- Desire to learn; independently and on the job
- US Citizenship is required.
