Job Description SummaryThe Senior Facilities Program Manager provides operational support to GE Aerospace Research Facilities Team regarding Preventative Maintenance, Investment in Critical Building Systems, and Sustainability strategy. The role supports the operationalization of the GE Aerospace Research programs to achieve success for the long-term health and growth for our Niskayuna Site. The role reports to the Niskayuna Site Facilities Leader and will work closely with the GE Aerospace businesses to integrate maintenance, investment, and sustainability goals and procedures into core operations.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead projects to establish the necessary frameworks, procedures, and strategies to build organizational capability to achieve GE Aerospace’s Maintenance, Investment, and sustainability commitments, goals, and targets.
  • Establish standard work and KPIs to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Partner with the GE Aerospace businesses to achieve reduction targets on carbon reduction.
  • Develop and operationalize GE Aerospace Corporate programs on-site to support Maintenance, Investment, and Sustainability commitments, goals and targets.
  • Support the design and implementation of an organization operational rhythm.
  • Facilitate, Maintain, and grow internal and external networks to move the GE Aerospace Global Facilities agenda forward.
  • Work closely with the Facilities Operations team, Facilities Projects Team and the Research Operations team for project execution and metrics reporting.
  • Support the planning and management of Preventative Maintenance efforts.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s of Science degree from an accredited university or college.
  • 10 Years experience working in Manufacturing or Facilities operations.
  • Proven experience working with preventative maintenance systems.
  • 5 years’ experience with ERP and/ or CMMS Systems.
  • 5 years’ cross functional business experience collaborating with operations, finance and project management.
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Must be willing to work out of an office located in either Niskayuna, NY.

Desired Characteristics

  • 5 years in Preventative Maintenance Software systems: Including MAXIMO, iOffice.
  • Experience in understanding and navigating governmental and regulatory agencies requirements and relationships.
  • Broad knowledge of building strong cross functional relationships and/or partnerships.
  • Demonstration of strategic thinking.
  • Deep experience in horizontal collaboration/integrate with functional partners to deliver sustainability goals across business segments.
  • Proven ability to integrate matrix activities in support of both internal & customer deliverables navigates complexity with focus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

The base pay range for this position is $111,900 - $186,500 USD annually. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on April 16, 2024
