Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic consulting and support to capture business direction, challenges, and requirements for various initiatives across the portfolio pipeline
- Recommend commercially and technically viable ideas to improve business performance through process change, capturing new ideas and prioritizing initiatives
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and architects to design and implement technical solutions that meet customer needs, delivering business solutions through a full project lifecycle
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of standard technology practices, implement recommendations, and stay up-to-date with the latest trends in technology, industry, and business domain
- Ensure the smooth operation of IT applications, drive ongoing improvement initiatives, and deliver solutions that meet business requirements
- Be directly involved in implementing solutions as part of an Agile development team, focusing on small to medium scale initiatives, and ensuring solutions meet security, performance, and integration requirements
- Manage the day-to-day activities of software development teams, external 3rd parties, and facilitate project progress and support
- Contribute to team resource planning, managing internal and external resources as needed
- Directly manage one or more Solution Analysts or Developers, providing guidance and coaching on their role
- Serve as a surrogate Product Owner / Business User SME (Senior) level, responsible for high-level planning and decision-making
Requirements
- Degree qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Information Technology related discipline
- Minimum 6 years of IT experience with hands-on solution delivery experience in large scale projects
- Experience in project delivery in agile / scrum methodology is essential
- Experience with AWS/Azure cloud platforms is a must
- Hands-on experience in Node.js, React and React Native is a plus
- Proven verbal and written communication skills to build healthy relationships with internal and external stakeholders including vendors and airport community
- Professional, passionate, innovative, self-motivated and able to present solutions to diverse groups of stakeholders
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, leveraging both logic and creativity based on facts
- Proven troubleshooting skills; ability to identify patterns and generate ideas
- Airline or travel industry knowledge is highly beneficial
- Willingness to undertake business travels as required
