Site Lead Skopje Branch

Job Description:

Responsible for effective operation of the Skopje Branch of Airbus Defence and Space AS.

The key responsibilities will include:

General:

• Running the day-to-day activities of the company in line with the instructions of ADS AS and requirements of Airbus Defence and Space.
• Being the legal representative of the Branch.
• Executing responsibilities according to the Controlled Business Environment defined for the Branch including ICSA reporting.
• Being accountable and liable on behalf of the Branch for legal compliance under applicable local laws.
• Having a key role in ensuring good communication and cooperation between employees in the Branch and the rest of the matrix organisation.
• Ensuring a good local working environment.
• Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.

Business:

• Define and maintain a business strategy for the region together with ADS AS
• Actively identify market opportunities in North Macedonia and the region in general.
• Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
• Identify potential partnerships with regional suppliers of relevant services
• Explore funding opportunities from local and regional authorities, as well as EU/NATO and other agencies.
• Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
• Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones
