Satair - Commercial Analytics Manager

Job Description:

• Provide analysis for complex offers for contracts to address customer requirements, by meeting profitability guidelines with a manageable risk exposure
• Generate commercial proposals to customers by understanding customers’ key requirements and criteria in bid process
• Support & enable the Commercial team to take data-driven decisions in order to improve competitiveness and customer satisfaction
• Contribute to become the Centre of Excellence for all required commercial analytical requirements and drive further development & automation of the same

• Generate proposals to customers by understanding customers’ key requirements and criteria in bid process
• Understand and quantify the commercial consequences of meeting customer requirements (e.g., multi-year pricing, volume discounts and customised logistics)
• Develop business cases, and present scenarios to the Approval Committee, recommend preferred scenarios and determine negotiation strategy (incl. bands)
• Use business data and statistical methods to provide insight into business performance and suggest area and methods of improvements
• Support the development and production of standardised reports / dashboards and presentations
• Support all required commercial analytical requirements and drive further development & automation of the same (i.e. centre of excellence)
• Conduct win-loss analysis to continuously sharpen Satair’s value proposition in the market
• Drive improvements and contribute to an efficient and customer-focused Commercial Analytics Team

• University degree in Business / Finance / Engineering preferred
• Minimum 5 years&39; working experience in a Business Analyst role or similar
• Strong numeracy skills
• Ability to operate, extract and analyse data from business tools, such as but not limited to CRM and Business Intelligence software (or ability to learn and utilise it quickly)
• Some basic knowledge of VBA, Python and other programming language / coding preferred
