Malta Air, part of Ryanair Group is currently recruiting for a Safety Management Trainee to join Europes largest airline group.

The successful candidate will be based in Malta Airs HQ in Pieta, Malta and will support the entire safety function for a period of 18 months.

Duties will include:

• Assist the Department Manager or Deputy with departmental activities and the preparation of weekly/monthly/quarterly reports
• Records keeping and maintenance
• Refer to EASA and local Regulations to ensure the organisation complies with all applicable requirements.
• Consultation of the EASA and TM CAD website
• Participate in Safety Risk Assessments
• Review and process Safety Reports
• Assist the Department Manager or Deputy with the investigation of non-compliances
• Basic auditing activities

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, Engineering Degree advantageous but not essential
• Strong organisational skills
• The ability to handle multiple priorities
• Full computer literacy with experience of Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Internet Explorer)
• Strong Microsoft Excel competences advantageous but not essential
• Fluency in English written and verbal is required.
