Northrop Grumman SDS Division is seeking a Division Mission Assurance Manager 2.  This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Provide leadership that fosters an inclusive, motivated, and engaged work culture driving the continuous improvement of people (to include training & development), products, processes

  • Lead and manage a team of Mission Assurance Quality Analysts and Quality Engineers within the Division Compliance organization

  • Accountable for maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) and AS9100 / CMMI certifications across the Division.

  • Provide leadership in the internal audit and corrective action programs.

  • Coordinate 3rd party audits, including ensuring resources are prepared and available to support.

  • Lead root cause and corrective action process (RCCA) and analysis on failure investigations for high impact issues and lead personnel in use of RCCA for low impact level issues.

  • Ensure quality records are archived and properly closed.

  • Support MA functions to ensure mission success.

  • Develop and maintain Division Mission Assurance Metrics.

  • Provide guidance and expertise to supporting Mission Assurance professionals

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.  

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:  

  • 6 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors Degree; 4 years with a Masters

  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret Security clearance

  • At least 1 year experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule

  • Experience leading RCCA on high impact issues

  • Experience with AS9100 compliance

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:  

  • Experience with CMMI compliance

  • AS9100 lead auditor training

  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and/or accomplish them simultaneously

  • Experience in Mission Assurance / Quality

  • Experience with ICBM Systems

  • An active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope

Salary Range: $119,300 - $178,900
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current spanet conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
