Job Description BAE Systems is seeking Manufacturing Operations supervisor with hands-on experience in a welding, fabrication, or machining environment.
Within this role, you will:- Drive the long-range strategic planning process for operations by overseeing and managing all manufacturing operations.
- Translate customer requirements into state-of-the-art manufacturing strategies and processes, resulting in cost-effective processing.
- Develop operations-related plans, budgets, and policies and procedures.
- Maintain safety and regulatory compliance relating to the production facility.
- Select, develop, and evaluate personnel.
Job Requirements:
Required Education, Experience, & Skills - Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Able to lead teams of skilled trades persons from diverse backgrounds in a dynamic, manufacturing shop environment.
- Capable of balancing multiple priorities without sacrificing quality.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills. Follow through with problem solving.
- MS Office software capabilities.
- Maintain labor accounting and reconcile time cards of reporting employees.
- Able to assess current machining centers and work with Engineering for streamlined processes.
- Able to document and counsel employees as required per policy, i.e.; attendance, performance.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills - Machining and Fabrication experience from the standpoint to help resolve manufacturing issues.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $58300 - $99100
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
