Job SummaryThe Manager will provide leadership for a team of security and network technology professionals that deliver a range of IT/OT support and services nationally. The manager will develop strategies, roadmaps and objectives of their functional technical area in alignment with business requirements. Working with other IT/OT groups, clients, and external vendors, identifies service requirements and opportunities and manages the delivery of services to meet expectations for performance, reliability and availability. The manager provides tactical direction to the Senior Manager or Director to ensure the services evolve at a pace that is appropriate for the enterprise and that new and emerging technologies are leveraged.

In this role you will:
- Maintain expertise by continual involvement in the IT/OT technical community and continued education
- Ensure key resources and roles have development and succession plans in place
- Responsible for planning and development of technology strategy for functional area(s)
- Manage and be fully accountable for a team of IT/OT Support Specialists Development, implementation and life-cycle support of functional technology areas
- Develop and manage IT/OT service levels, guidelines, standards, tools, metrics, processes and procedures for service delivery, consistent with organizational protocols and industry standards for a 24 hour operation
- Monitor and report on performance, availability and reliability of infrastructure services
- Champion continuous improvement to all process and procedures
- Provide technology recommendations and guidance to the Senior Manager or Director
- Develop strong customer relationships
- Engage with stakeholders for the purpose of planning and determining infrastructure requirements
- Adhere to request, incident, problem and change management processes and procedures
- Ensure adherence to general computing controls, security, project management and compliance policies and frameworks
- Support corporate disaster recovery and business continuity objectives
- Create required project artefacts to support the Project Approval Process
- Develop budgetary plans and forecasts based on dynamic operational requirements and priorities
- Responsible for vendor management in alignment with business requirements
What you bring:
- University Bachelor’s Degree in a business or technology discipline, or equivalent
- 5&43; years working across IT/OT infrastructure disciplines with a focus on Cyber Security and Network technologies
- 2&43; years working experience as a functional manager or team lead
- 2&43; years of experience with contract and vendor management processes
- 2&43; years responsible for infrastructure services delivery
- 2&43; years project management experience
- Knowledge of Infrastructure Services technology
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and frameworks
- Knowledge of IT process frameworks (e.g., ITIL / ITSM) and how to apply them in a practical manner
- Knowledge of industry best practices, methodologies, and techniques for planning, delivering and managing a secure and efficient operation
