About the role
You will be responsible to lead relationship with Business divisions from an IT delivery and outcome perspective. Manage annual IT work programme with a large and operationally critical work programme of the assigned LOBs (Line of Businesss) keeping in mind business growth plans, opportunities and operational challenges. Manage a portfolio of programmes, projects, and/or on-going service provision, by establishing scheduling, delivery, and resource dependencies and risk management across the projects to ensure the programme delivery in an efficient, timely and cost effective manner.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure structured, qualitative and quantitative review of IT service delivery with the assigned departments
- Take ownership in ensuring business cases & CMCs with right cost inputs for the assigned programme and projects.
- Work with IT teams to ensure projects under that are delivered within agreed cost and timescales.
- Ensure the IT work progmame to be undertaken is agreed with the business units along with key attributes such as business priority is defined and maintained. Ensure that each project is initiated at the right time.
- Ensure that any specific standards and procedures to be followed by all the projects/sub.
- Establish organisational governance for work programme such as Steering Committee and Working Groups working with Senior Manager.
- Ensure that risks from individual projects and operational systems are consolidated, prioritised based on risk exposure and resources are focused to manage risks with highest impact on the programme.
- Ensure that a consolidated work programme plan is established and maintained based on high level planning output from individual projects.
- Send regular updates and Reports to the Senior Manager on project KPls through the deployment of business management processes and systems.
- Contribute in the development of annual and rolling budgets related to application systems for business areas in line with the agreed business specific IT strategy.
- Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

Qualifications
About you
- Bachelors Degree or Equivalent in the fields of Computer Science, any Engineering discipline, Commerce or Sciences. with Minimum 8 years of job-related experience.
- Experience in leading IT projects, at least 3 years of which should be in successful delivery of large work programme.
- Industry related certification in either or both ITIL, Project management.
- Experience in Applications development, implementation and support management, Programme management .
- Project management certification or demonstrable experience.
- Team management.

- Effective communication skills.
- Managerial skills - Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinates skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members.

- They provide regular updates on service delivery and respond to client inquiries and concerns.
- Oversee the delivery of services to clients and coordinate the efforts of different teams to ensure that services are delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
- Track and monitor the performance of services, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes as needed.
- Ensuring that service level agreements are met, and that the services provided meet the required quality standards.
- Managing budgets for service delivery, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively, and that costs are kept within budget.
- Building and maintaining high-performing teams, and for fostering a positive working environment.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes to ensure that services are delivered efficiently and effectively.
- Airline Industry experience though not essential would be an added advantage.
- Excellent knowledge, understanding and proven track record on delivering complex business and technology transformations / large projects with Onsite / offshore model.
- Knowledge of end-to-end software development life cycle, starting from requirements phase until delivery and rollout preferably on Azure DevOps using CMMI methodology.
