Mission

As a Management Trainee you will be immersed into the different operational and administrative departments that run Brussels Airlines. You will develop a deep understanding of the aviation business and start a career within the company.

Flying on the current high demand for leisure and recovering demand from business, Brussels Airlines is transforming further into a future proof company. As a Management Trainee you will support that transformation and create a sustainable future for Brussels Airlines. During three projects of six months you will develop the Brussels Airlines core competencies, but also your project management skills. You also will take part in an exchange with management trainees of other Lufthansa Group companies.  The program will prepare you for and let you grow into a management position.

As a management trainee, you can have an impact on the future of Belgian aviation.

Tasks

During these 18 months you will carry different responsibilities. You will be surrounded by trainers, coaches, managers & a buddy who will give you advice and support you on your development path.

• You follow a training program which focuses on your personal growth profile, programs related to strategy, sustainability, working with big data, etc.. and getting to know the exciting world of aviation.
• On the job: during your projects, you have the possibility to learn from your co-workers and managers. These experts are guiding you throughout the assignment and are helping with your personal development. You gain insights in different domains such as our African competence centre for the Lufthansa Group, Marketing, Airline Operations, Maintenance & Engineering, Sales, HR, IT, Finance, …
• Networking: we believe a future manager needs to be a team player. That is why we give you the opportunity to network within the Lufthansa Group organization and to experience how to work with people with diverse backgrounds.

Your profile

• You graduate in summer 2025 and have obtained a Master degree e.g. Commercial Engineering, Economics, Civil Engineering , Law, … and preferably finished a MBA or Master Class.
• As we emphasize motivation and personality, we are not requiring any previous working experience.
• You are fluent in English, both spoken and written communication.
• You like to work in an open corporate culture where there is a flat hierarchy in which trust and good fellowship are crucial.
• You are ambitious, eager to learn and have an entrepreneurial mindset.
• You feel comfortable in a fast changing environment.
• You possess interpersonal skills that give you the possibility to take up a managerial role in the future.
• You have a passion for aviation.
• You have an openness to go abroad to participate in projects across our entire organization.
