What You Will Do:
Pratt & Whitney is seeking an experienced, motivated, and mission-driven Digital Transformation Model Manager to join the F135 Engine Core Upgrade (ECU) Systems team. ECU is at forefront of implementing Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Multi-disciplinary Design Analysis and Optimization (MDAO), Model Based Definition, Manufacturing, and Inspection (MB-DMI), Simulation Life Management (SLM) into design phase of the program. The Digital Transformation Model Manager will work closely with overall F135 digital transformation lead and is responsible for leading digital product development, Digital Engineering Implementation Plan (DEIP) development and communication with PW and Government leadership.
Lead the development and implementation of Digital Transformation and Model Based Engineering initiatives for ECU program.
Develop Digital Engineering Implementation Plan (DEIP) and deliver to government customer at major review milestones.
Develop detailed lower-level ECU digital requirements starting from high-level requirements in government Statement of Work (SoW); Work with agile scrum master to convert requirements into actionable agile plan with increment and sprint deliverables.
Manage MBSE Cameo models and Authoritative Sources of Truth (ASoT) used by Cameo models through revisioning and data governance.
Work closely with MBSE, SLM, MB-DMI leads and practitioners to drive progress.
Present compliance status to requirements to PW and government leadership at agile demo reviews and major program milestone reviews.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering and minimum 10+ years prior relevant experience, or a master’s degree in engineering and a minimum of 7+ years of experience.
5+ years of experience with Gas Turbines Systems Integration, design integration and Team Center.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
10 Travel.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Active security clearance
Working knowledge of digital transformation software solutions that will enable technical conversion of engineering products such as analyses, technical data, and data storage (Solumina, Teamcenter, Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System (DOORS), Cameo, MagicGrid, SysML, Digital Thread, Digital Twin.
Working knowledge of Model Based: Analysis, Design, Lifting, Definition, Manufacturing/Inspection, Validation/Acceptance.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
