SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This person will carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Provides leadership to quality mangers and all other quality assurance/inspection personnel throughout the quality organization.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from four-year College or University and 15 years (minimum) related experience in an aerospace manufacturing/repair or operations quality system; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Production Certificates/Repair Station 21/145 Certificate experience required.
- Must have substantial experience at a manager to mid-manager level.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing a quality department.
- ISO/AS9100/AS9110 Experience required.
- Previous experience in developing quality systems required.
- Thorough knowledge of applicable FAA regulations as well as previous experience interacting directly with the FAA required.
- Quality system experience associated with US government contracting, DCMA oversight and interface.
- Enterprise Process Mapping experience a plus.
- EASA International Quality experience a plus.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite to include Excel, Power Point, Access and Project.
