The Digital Crime Prevention Supervisor is responsible for conducting online pilferage checks, monitoring social media for theft of brand assets, and identifying potential physical threats to the brand. This role involves analysing data, identifying patterns, and reporting findings to support the function head. The roler holder is also responsible for supporting in background security screening process, and reporting on irregularities that may result in the non-conformity of the organizations Security Policy.
Job Outline:
- Monitor online platforms and social media for signs of asset theft, potential threats to customers/employee, and risks to equipment, aircraft, corporate facilities, and airport operations.
- Conduct thorough online searches to identify any pilferage or unauthorised use of brand assets and potential physical threats.
- Analyse data from various sources to detect patterns and trends related to protection of company asset, employee and physical threats.
- Support the background security screening process by compiling and reviewing relevant data.
- Detect and report any online threats, irregularities, or risks that could compromise organisational policies.
- Investigate incidents related to asset protection, non-compliance, and potential physical threats within the company.
- Prepare detailed reports on findings and incidents, including potential risks to equipment, aircraft, corporate facilities, and airport operations, for senior management review.
- Communicate findings and propose corrective actions for identified internal control failures and potential physical threats.
- Recommend preventive measures to enhance overall asset protection and mitigate risks to physical assets and operations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all asset protection activities, incidents, and identified physical threats.
