Join us at Collins Aerospace for a 12-month placement in our Legal, Contracts, and Compliance department, where you’ll gain real-world experience, tackle exciting challenges, and lay the foundation for a successful career.
What Does the Role Look Like?
Joining our Actuation Business team within Advanced Structures, you’ll support the legal and compliance functions across multiple value streams, contributing to on-time, high-quality product delivery. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting contract negotiation by providing critical information and completing essential documentation.
- Developing business case models to secure approvals for contractual proposals.
- Managing contract reviews to ensure compliance with all terms and conditions.
- Presenting and analyzing Contracts & Commercial data, offering insights to aid decision-making.
- Drafting and negotiating agreements and contract clauses in line with corporate standards.
- Identifying and managing contract risks and opportunities.

What Will You Bring to the Role?
- Current undergraduate studying a legal or business-related bachelor’s degree, on track to achieve a 2:1 or above.
- Basic knowledge of legal principles, with the ability to interpret contractual clauses.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong team relationships and connect with customers.
- Flexibility and resilience under pressure, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
