Description:
The Boeing Battlespace Communication System (BCS) is a next generation network that is the centerpiece for multiple projects and campaigns. We are seeking a Project Coordinator to support the Program Manager across the portfolio of programs within the BCS enterprise. The role is based in Brisbane.
Responsibilities:
- Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyze and PM activities, including Risk management, Baseline management, CDRL management, schedule management, Survey and Quotes, minutes etc.
- Maintain an integrated plan to align project requirements with the BCS Franchise
- Working to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision makers
- Engaging with stakeholders across BDA, suppliers and the customer and end users to establish key requirements to meet project objectives. Supporting recovery plans when required.
- Engaging with project team to debrief on task deliverables and compile any lessons learned and corresponding corrective actions.
- Providing Project Management and ad-hoc support to other areas of the BCS enterprise as needed
- Fostering and supporting inclusive, diverse and high performing teams
Experience/Qualifications:
- Formal Project Management, Engineering, Business or Management qualifications is desired however prior experience will be considered.
- High level communication and negotiation skills with a strong focus on building successful relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated proficiency in all project management areas and experience in managing projects to successful and timely completion.
- Drive and passion to grow capability, mentor and coach other PM professionals.
- Applicants must be an Australian Citizen and hold, or have ability to obtain, an Australian defence security clearance.
