The A320 Neo Operations Manager will ensure that functional and manufacturing areas are executing on strategies to meet cost, quality, and schedule requirements while focusing on profitability, improved ROI and sustained growth. This team member will partner closely with Site Operations and Program leaders to support improvement and robustness of the ASG Operating Systems such as Real Time Problem Resolution (RTPR), LPA, Tiered Meetings, SWIP Maps (SWS), SWCS, Load. Additionally, will support continuous improvement initiatives as well as engagement and effective adherence to CORE and the Collins Pathway.
The candidate may also need to support or lead production activities. These include (but are not limited to) direct engagement with teams responsible for producing complex large assemblies for Airbus, MRP planning and management, build process benchspaning, creation of current and future state value stream maps, the implementation plan for getting from present to future, proposal efforts, capital management, and operations planning, identify, document, and assess capacity actions as well as operational risks, work in collaboration with program and site to develop, track and close mitigation actions.
What YOU will do
- You will lead and develop a cross functional team to meet customer demand across multiple production lines.
- You will provide training and mentorship to manufacturing staff to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their tasks. Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the manufacturing team.
- You will support continuous improvement efforts to develop standard work, change processes, resolve problems, and promote standardization and integration daily of shop floor management system.
- You will implement process improvement opportunities with operation leads to enhance quality, decrease process cycle time and reduce operational costs.
- You will track and measure part level delivery performance of critical components and lead initiatives to meet requirements including delivery, quality and inventory. Own/maintain Lines of Balance (LOBs) .
- You will prioritize and manage production for multiple components and customers.
- You will identify risks to production plans, build mitigation plans, and drive actions to closure.
- You will develop forecast rate requirements to support the program and business plans.
- You will monitor daily/weekly/monthly WIP vs. SWIP.
- You will communicate with internal and external customers regarding production metrics.
Education & Experience
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.

- Previous experience in a leadership or management role.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Skills we value
- Experience with continuous improvement projects and processes such as Lean, Six sigma, or CORE.
- Hands-on experience utilizing analytics, particularly in assessing performance and utilization metrics.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence, advise and direct members outside the direct reporting structure to perform job requirements and meet deadlines.
- Experience with verbal and written communication skills to communicate program status, issues, and resolution plans across all major stakeholders, including senior management, and customers.

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
