Description:Lockheed Martins Archbald facility specializes in design, manufacturing, and engineering for both domestic and international customers. It produces electronic assemblies, machined and welded assemblies/parts, and safety-critical systems for various defense and commercial applications. The site is renowned for its awards and contributions to missile systems, nuclear instrumentation, and control products.
What You Will Be Doing
• Must be thoroughly familiar with the use and application of high voltage, test equipment, desktop computer / test software various electronic measuring instruments such as voltmeters, ammeters, digital multi meters, function generators, and oscilloscopes
• Will be required to read a schematic and troubleshoot components based on measurements outputs and recommend corrective action when defects are determined during assembly and testing
• Install test units and operate assets such a chamber, oven, or other test machinery
• Must be able to determine the effect of measuring equipment on the circuit being measured and be able to correct readings accordingly
• Record findings and readings on test data sheets and refers data beyond established limits to his/her supervisor and/or to the engineer concerned
• Perform various electrical tests sub assembly units to determine compliance and performance as specified.
• Perform various electrical bench tests on printed wiring boards to determine compliance and performance as specified
• Travel may be required for performance of technical duties at field locations
• Must have a thorough knowledge of the correct procedures to follow and precautions to take when performing their work in order to prevent damage to equipment and/or material and injury to self and/or others
• Must be able to properly document in a neat and legible manner all types of errors or discrepancies found
• May be required to participate during internal and external audits as required
• Maintains records of results
• Physical condition allowing:
a) Lifting 50 pounds
b) Standing, sitting, bending, walking, 10+ hours per day.
c) Personal protective equipment including Steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, and wearing a respirator when required
• Must maintain a neat, orderly and safe work area
• Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Work experience testing with high power voltages 120VAC
• 3 years, formal education in electricity/electronics, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized training in specific aspects of job functions and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned tasks
• Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills, with both internal and external customers
• Experience working successfully in a team environment
• Must be able to support a flexible work schedule supporting overtime, off-Fridays, weekends, and/or alternate shifts to support product schedules as required
• Must be able to pass visual acuity and color perception exam
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Secret security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship
Desired Skills:
• Associates degree in Electronics
• Experience in Printed Wiring Board (PWB) testing and PWB component troubleshooting
• Previous test technician, inspection and/or work experience in safety operating within a high-quality management system
• Work experience and formally trained (ARC flash) testing with high power voltages 220V to 440 VAC
• Demonstrated computer skills areas of LM tools including SAP, Apriso, Command Media, PAL and Windchill
• Demonstrated Microsoft Office computer proficiency

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
