Sheetmetal Mechanics (Lodging Provided!)

Reliance Aerotech Services is seeking well-qualified Aircraft Technicians-Structures and Mechanics to support a short term return to service project on narrow and wide body aircraft sitting in Birmingham, AL.  Great pay AND lodging provided.  

Successful applicants will be responsible for:

• Repairing and modifying aircraft sheet metal structures
• Using technical data and aircraft drawings
• Reading work orders, blueprints, and specifications to determine repair of fabrication
• Repairing body or structure of aircraft according to specifications
• Fabricating parts and performing maintenance in accordance with approved tech data using sheetmetal tools such as shears, sheetmetal brake, rivet gun and drills
• Performing functional line checks.

• FAA Airframe license preferred, but not mandatory
• 10+ years sheetmetal modifications and assembly
• Sheetmetal Experience on Airbus or similar
• 5+ years aircraft line maintenance experience
• Must pass a DOT/FAA Pre-Employment Drug Screen
• Must clear various background checks with no disqualifying convictions.
• Must have current and valid driver's license
• Must provide own tools, tool box must be shadowed, tools must be etched
