Job Description
The Structures Technician will perform manual labor in a production line and assemble parts for satellite systems. Take part in something out-of-this-world.
Become a pioneer as we create the first and only space-based cellular broadband network.
Responsibilities- Assemble parts on a production team.
- Sorting and placing parts.
- Assemble satellite sub-assembly parts manually.
- Use various hand tools, measuring, and test equipment.
- Clean parts and place them where they belong.
- Pack, seal, and move boxes.
- Pick up, move, and sort small parts.
- Use small tools and jigs to manipulate parts for assembly.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Essential Skills- Blueprint reading
- Wiring
- Structure assembly
- Sheet metal repair
- Use of hand tools
- Use of power tools
- Ability to read blueprints
- Experience with sheet metal
Additional Skills & Qualifications- High school diploma or GED
- US work authorization.
- Associates degree or certificate in a technical area
- Assembly or manufacturing experience
- High aptitude to work with small electronics, including soldering of small electrical components or mechanical equipment
- Experience in the space or aeronautical field

Work Environment
Work in a clean room environment, requiring the use of smocks, hair nets, beard nets, and shoe covers.
