Responsibilities
* Ensure proper execution of the prescribed FAA forms for major repair or major alteration.
*Ensure that all inspections are properly performed on all completed work and that the proper inspection records, reports, and forms used by the Repair Station are properly executed prior to releasing the product for return to service.
*Ensure that all maintenance is performed in accordance with generally accepted industry standards and maintenance practices, appropriate FAA regulations, manufacturer& 39;s recommendations and the operator’s manual determining parts Certification and serviceability.
*Perform aircraft records research.
*Help develop & maintain aircraft status sheets.
*Assist in Repair Station training and Training Records
*Perform aircraft area and panel closeouts.
*Ensure proper execution of FAA Form 337, 8130-10 and 8110.
*Conduct preliminary, hidden damage, in process, and final inspection of all articles processed by the Repair Station.
*Ensure the proper tagging and identification of all parts and components as outlined in the Repair Station / Quality manual and final disposition of rejected parts.
*Ensure that incoming and outgoing aircraft records are complete and accurate.
*Perform weight and balance computations. 2
*Compliance in obtaining STC or Field approvals.
*Work order review. Qualifications
*Holds an Airframe and Powerplant license.
*IA-FAA certification- PREFERRED
*Must be knowledgeable of the applicable Manufacturers maintenance manual, company operations specifications, FAR’s and applicable portions of the company operations and maintenance manuals.
*Have a minimum of four (4) years on Rotorcraft.
*Have previous experience in a 145 Repair Station.
*Must have experience on Bell, Airbus and Leonardo Helicopters
*Experience with Lean Six Sigma, Lean Logic is a plus.
*Have excellent oral and written communication skills.
*Must be able to read and write English.
*Be available to travel as required.
