Quality Inspector
1st Shift 7:00am - 4:30pm
$22.00/hour - $24.00/hour
- Interpret and understand drawings and blue-prints
- Read and interpret customer drawings and effectively apply Geometric Dimension & Tolerance
- Approve final process production by conducting visual, mechanical and electrical testing to confirm compliance to applicable specification and customer requirements.
- Collect and provide data for inspections through process and Final Inspection
- Log inspection data on reports and forms.
- Proficient in the use of a wide variety of precision inspection equipment used to measure parts with tight tolerances (e.g., +/- 0.0001 inches or above) such as Mitutoyo micrometer, non-contact instruments (Optical comparator, vision system, etc.), surface plate, various hand tools, gauges (calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, go-no-go thread and ring gauges), microscopes, etc.
- Establishes a positive working relationship with customer base through prompt and courteous telephone, e-mail, and facsimile communication.

- Must have experience reading & interpreting blue prints.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Detroit, Michigan.
Work Environment
1st Shift: Monday - Friday
7:00am - 4:30pm
8 Acre campus located in Detroit with 10 buildings
Aerospace Coating Company
Some Saturdays (4 hour shift)
These candidates will be working in the quality department. Well lit, air conditioned, and dust protected environment. They can wear jeans, a polo and tennis shoes to work each day.
