Job Description:
AccountabilitiesTo ensure complete accuracy, fulfil and comply with Quality Objectives and Aviation Authorities requirements at incoming/outgoing goods quality inspection.
To participate in optimizing company’s business procedures through company’s IT systems including the ERP-system.
To participate in the continuous improvement of Quality and Safety standards.
Main activitiesPrimary responsibilities:
Accept the consignment against delivery order/note or packing list.
Unpack and check the delivered items are correct and in line with existing quality rules and defined inspection plans.
Carry out all required inspections and checks as per locally defined requirements.
Ensure complete accuracy of all incoming products upon receipt in alignment with Satair quality objectives.
Contact the buyer and/or Quality department in the event of any discrepancies between goods ordered and goods received.
Report any Suspected Unapproved Parts to the Quality Manager / Central Quality Director.
Report any change in supplier performance
Perform Quality and Airworthiness Inspections for the SME Spares Center.
Secondary Responsibilities:
General Duties:
To comply with company’s Mission, Values and Quality Management procedures.
To keep the Team Leader / Manager - Warehouse informed of the status of agreed tasks and of any critical problem areas
To participate in optimizing company business procedures through company’s IT systems, including the ERP-system
To participate in company project groups
To identify and offer suggestions to improve efficiency
Comment/advise on undesirable conditions within the organization, and propose potential solutions for improvements
To be well informed about and familiar with the latest developments in company&39;s business
To participate in occupational safety and health efforts
Assist in the performance of Internal quality audits, compile QM/Spares data into Statistical reports used to measure the effectiveness of SME Quality Management Procedures.
New and Used Monitoring and follow-up of storage conditions on all Spares.
AOG Standby support as per the shift schedule.
Outputs- In case any discrepancies have been found on the delivered parts, all must be reported into the claim database.
Perform Goods Receipts into ERP in accordance with described procedure
Maintain tidy conditions in own working area and any other areas for which the individual is responsible
Perform inspection procedures and issue on demand appropriate certificates on all outgoing NEW and serviceable (USED) material.
Issue Discrepancy Reports and Unserviceable Tags on non-conforming material
Issue of Authorized Release Certificate or Certificate of Conformity
Qualification required:
- Min. 3 to 5 years of experience in Aviation industry as quality inspector
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Bachelor degree or aeronautical engineer
- Experienced in SAP systems
- Familiar with Quality processes i.e. QMS
- Experience with Airworthiness processes and procedures
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Packages i.e. Google, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
- Analytical skills
- Team player and self initiated
