QUALITY ASSURANCE INSPECT-2nd Shift
Job Description:

What Youll Do:

  • Inspection & Approval: Ensure that all airworthiness requirements for the articles being maintained or altered have been met, providing the final approval for return to service.
  • Technical Expertise: Utilize your knowledge of FAR 43, FAR 145, FAR 91 Subpart E, and Repair Station forms and RSM to uphold stringent quality standards.
  • Comprehensive Knowledge: Maintain a detailed understanding of the work scope for assigned aircraft.
  • Inspection Programs: Verify that the inspection program is applicable to the assigned aircraft.
  • FAA Data: Ensure FAA-approved data is used for major repairs and alterations on assigned aircraft.
  • Weight & Balance: Compute weight and balance on assigned aircraft as required.
  • Certification Projects: Carry out conformity inspections for certification projects on assigned aircraft.
  • Airworthiness Approvals: Support import/export airworthiness approvals on assigned aircraft.
  • Maintenance Records: Provide accurate and correct aircraft maintenance records entries on assigned aircraft.
  • Documentation: Ensure all paperwork and documentation for aircraft maintenance and alterations is complete and accurate, and that corrective actions completely clear discrepancies.
  • Final Inspections: Provide final inspection and approval for return to service on assigned aircraft.
  • FAA Form 337: Properly execute FAA Form 337 as required.
  • Regulation Familiarity: Be familiar with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations and the RSQCM.
  • Certification: Must be certificated under Part 65.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Mechanics Certificate: Mechanics certificate with A&P ratings required.
  • Desirable Certification: FAA Inspection Authorization desirable.
  • Experience: Minimum three years of experience in aircraft maintenance and alteration of turbo fan-powered business aircraft.
  • Specific Knowledge: Working knowledge of FAR 43, FAR 145, FAR 91 Subpart E, and the RSM/QCM and Repair Station forms.
  • Skills: Proficient use of MS Office applications and the ability to work unsupervised for extended periods.
