Job Summary

This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) within a leading aerospace manufacturing environment. The intern will support NDT operations, learn various inspection techniques, and contribute to ensuring the quality and integrity of aircraft components.

Job Responsibilities

* Assist NDT technicians and engineers in the preparation and execution of various non-destructive testing methods, including but not limited to Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Eddy Current Testing (ET), Radiographic Testing (RT), and Penetrant Testing (PT).
* Learn to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and NDT procedures.
* Support the setup, calibration, and maintenance of NDT equipment.
* Document inspection results accurately and assist in data analysis.
* Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance NDT knowledge and skills.
* Adhere to all safety regulations and quality control standards.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the NDT department.
* Perform other assigned tasks as required by the NDT team.

Job Qualifications

* Currently enrolled in a Bachelor&39;s or Master&39;s degree program in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Aerospace Engineering) or a related technical field.
* Basic understanding of materials science and engineering principles.
* Strong interest in non-destructive testing and quality assurance.
* Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
* Ability to follow instructions meticulously and work effectively in a team environment.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
* Must be legally authorized to work in China for the duration of the internship.
