About This Role
We believe people should love what they do – in this role, you will be responsible for:
• Providing engineering support on both next generation technologies and proven platforms that support and protect our deployed warfighter
• Participating in hardware development of new products across all phases of the product lifecycle from concept development to lab integration and evaluation
• Developing imaginative, thorough, practicable technical solutions to a wide range of difficult Mechanical Engineering problems.
• Performing detailed design of mechanical structures and subsystems using solid modeling, requirements analysis, trade studies, mechanical analysis including structural, thermal, and tolerance analysis, and human interface design
• Using computer-aided design tools such as Unigraphics/NX, FEA packages, and MatLab
• Working cohesively on a multi-functional team with exciting technologies and products
• May lead, guide & direct concept design and the work of others
• Other related duties as assigned
