GSE Mechanic

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment failures on aircraft ground support equipment. Perform complex diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and/or company owned equipment. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic start systems using necessary schematics. Utilize diagnostic software to troubleshoot Powertrain Management Systems. Complete vehicle repair order and other documentation accurately to maintain quality standards. Communicate safety concerns and customer requests for service to management. Other duties as assigned by management.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment failures on aircraft ground support equipment.
• Perform complex diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and/or company owned equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic start systems using necessary schematics.
• Utilize diagnostic software to troubleshoot Powertrain Management Systems.
• Complete vehicle repair order and other documentation accurately to maintain quality standards.
• Communicate safety concerns and customer requests for service to management.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

• 2+ years of GSE or automotive mechanic experience
• Maintenance experience
• Gas engine experience
• Diesel engine experience
• Drivers License

• GSE experience
• Diesel engine experience
• Technology degree in automotive or diesel technology
• Diesel repair experience (nice to have but not required)

Work Environment

Work is performed in a non-climate controlled facility at the Memphis airport. The shift is from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
