Job Title: Brake TechnicianJob Description
We are seeking a skilled Brake Technician with mechanical aptitude and experience working with power and hand tools. The ideal candidate will have experience working on aircraft brakes from manufacturers such as Collins, Safran, Meggitt, JSX, and Boeing/Aviall.
Responsibilities
- Disassemble gear and components.
- Deflate gear and tires.
- Remove bushings and related hardware including bolts, washers, and nuts.
- Clean hardware and all parts of the gear.
- Occasionally remove paint.
- Operate hydraulic jacks and other equipment to perform landing gear maintenance functions.
Essential Skills- Mechanical aptitude
- Experience with power and hand tools
- Ability to perform work according to mechanical diagrams
- Experience working on aircraft brakes
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Additional Skills & Qualifications- 1+ year of experience working on brakes
- Experience using hand tools and power tools such as drills, wrenches, and sockets
