Candidate serves as the SOATB MH47 team lead assisting the MH47 aircraft maintenance supervisor. Assists with the daily scheduling and assigning of tasks in support of operations at home station and TDY locations. Backfills the maintenance supervisor in their absence. 

• This AM2 will monitor maintenance activities ensuring that the daily flight schedule requirements are met.
• The incumbent receives technical guidance from the aircraft maintenance supervisor and may be required to lead teams through more complex aircraft relevant tasks.
• Must be able to prioritize workload to maintain schedules on assigned projects.
• Assists in planning for TDY trip support and providing logistical assistance form home station. 
• Provides technical guidance to team mechanics. 

• Must have a thorough knowledge of MH47 aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting, repair procedures. General knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modifications and repair. General knowledge of electrical and avionics procedures and operations. 
• Must have thorough knowledge of aircraft unique tools, special tools, and test equipment. 
• This job requires working knowledge of technical publications and must be knowledgeable with ACN and Hydra.
• 6 years of rotary wing aviation maintenance experience minimum.
• Must have experience in SOATB MH47 support operations. 
• Must have good leadership skills, to include strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Possess excellent organizational skills and capable of prioritizing workload to meet aircraft schedules.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with an active clearance Secret or higher or the ability to get one.
