Job Description
As an Avionics Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting avionics systems for various aircraft. This role focuses on working with a wide range of avionics brands and systems, including airborne navigation and communication systems, autopilot systems, weather radar, transponder, pitot-static systems, compass systems, instruments, and accessories. You will test and troubleshoot instruments, components, and assemblies using circuit testers, oscilloscopes, and voltmeters.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot avionics systems for different planes.
- Work with various brands of avionics systems.
- Repair and maintain components and electrical systems, including airborne navigation and communication systems, autopilot systems, weather radar, transponder, pitot-static systems, compass systems, instruments, and accessories.
- Test and troubleshoot instruments, components, and assemblies using circuit testers, oscilloscopes, and voltmeters.
- Perform entry-level A&P tasks, such as removing panels.
Essential Skills- 4+ years of experience in avionics troubleshooting and repair.

Work Environment
This position operates on the 1st shift from 7 AM to 4 PM, with an 8-hour workday and some flexibility. Currently, there is not much overtime required. You will be working primarily in the hangar, with occasional outdoor tasks.
