Job Title: Component Overhaul Technician
Location: Aurora, OR
Job Description:
Aerotek, on behalf of its client, is seeking skilled Technicians to work in a component overhaul shop. The Technician will be responsible for disassembling, troubleshooting, repairing, reassembling, testing, and certifying fuel control systems and related units for heavy-lift helicopters. Candidates with MOS 15T, 15U, 15R, 15D, 15G, 15B, or any other MOS with experience in helicopter or aircraft maintenance are encouraged to apply.
Compensation:
- Local: $28-32 per hour
- Non-Local: $19.25 per hour with a $166 daily per diem for candidates living 75 miles away from Aurora, OR
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance Manuals: Read and interpret maintenance manuals or other technical data to determine the feasibility and method to perform assigned tasks.
- Inspection: Clean and inspect fuel controls and parts for damage and wear using visual examination and special tooling and equipment. Follow shop standard work procedures for cleanup and equipment preventive maintenance.
- Repair and Replacement: Replace or repair damaged or worn fuel control parts using general hand tools, special tools, pneumatic tools, and precision measuring equipment. Assemble components with the same tools and equipment.
- Testing: Use special tools and/or equipment to perform tests and checks as required to confirm fuel control serviceability.
- Documentation: Properly document all inspection findings and work performed/corrective actions in the appropriate maintenance records to meet established standards.

- Experience in fuel system component overhaul or turbine engine accessory overhaul
- Military or commercial turbine engine maintenance and/or component maintenance training preferred
