Aerotek on behalf of its client is seeking technicians working in a component overhaul shop. The Technician will disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, reassemble, test, and certify fuel control systems and related units for heavy-lift helicopters. MOS 15T, 15U, 15R, 15D, 15G, 15B any other MOS that has done maintenance or structures on helicopters or any other aircraft are welcome to apply. $28-32 local - $19.25/hr with $166 day per diem for candidates who live 75 miles away from Aurora, OR.
20 - Read and interprets maintenance manuals, or other technical data to determine the feasibility and method to perform the assigned tasks.
20 - Cleans and inspects fuel controls and parts for damage and wear using visual examination and special tooling and equipment. Follows shop standard work procedures for clean up and equipment preventive maintenance.
20 - Replaces or repairs damaged or worn fuel control parts using general hand tools, special tools, pneumatic tools and precision measuring equipment. Assembles components with same tools and equipment.
20 - Uses special tools and/or equipment performs tests and/or checks as required to confirm fuel control serviceability.
20 - Properly documents all inspection findings and work performed/corrective action in the appropriate maintenance records to meet established standards.
