A&P TECHNICIAN (ENGINE SHOP MECHANIC/WELDER)

HQ Aero is currently recruiting for an A&P TECHNICIAN (ENGINE SHOP MECHANIC/ WELDER) in BRIDGEPORT, WV

Responsibilities:
• Work on projects with engineering
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections to determine part condition
• Perform repairs to engine components and assemblies for return to service
• Ability to understand and inspect tools and specialized tooling for damage and serviceability
• Understand and follow all EH&S policies & procedures
• Adhere to general work rules and company policies and procedures applicable to work area and job functions
• Clean equipment within the department to prevent unnecessary maintenance and to display a safe and clean work environment within the facility
• Work overtime when necessary to meet customer needs
• Travel may be required when necessary to meet customer needs

Qualifications, Experience & Requirements:
MINIMUM
• A&P License
• Welding experience (MIG) – Must demonstrate proficiency
• Mechanical aptitude
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Valid drivers license
• US work authorization
• Will be required to supply own hand tools

• Must be able to drive and hold a fork truck license
