Aerotek on behalf of its client is seeking A&P Mechanics responsible for line and hangar maintenance of turboprop aircraft. Must posses a valid A&P license. Recent aviation graduates encouraged to apply. Responsible for line and hangar maintenance of turboprop aircraft, including KingAirs, EMB120, SA-227, and the person 100. This position involves working mostly indoors in a hangar with occasional outdoor line work within an airport environment. The operation runs seven days a week, offering a variety of projects such as prop changes, transmissions, hot sections, inspections, and avionics troubleshooting. You will also gain valuable experience on PT-6 engines, which is transferable to many other aircraft types.
Responsibilities
- Perform line and hangar maintenance on turboprop aircraft including KingAirs, EMB120, SA-227, and the person 100.
- Work on a variety of projects such as prop changes, transmissions, hot sections, inspections, and avionics troubleshooting.
- Conduct maintenance and troubleshooting on PT-6 engines.
- Ensure all maintenance tasks are performed in compliance with aviation regulations and company standards.
- Perform inspections and ensure aircraft are in optimal condition for safe operations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- A&P license
- 2+ years of Aircraft Maintenance experience (school experience is acceptable)
- Experience with turboprop aircraft
- Line maintenance experience
- Troubleshooting skills
- Electrical and avionics knowledge
- Experience with airframe and aircraft maintenance
