Skybridge Aviation is hiring A&P mechanics in the Nashville, TN area.
The Aircraft Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the safety and functionality of the aircraft through thorough inspections, repairs, and maintenance. This role requires a keen attention to detail and a strong understanding of aviation systems, including both mechanical and avionics components. The technician will work closely with other team members to uphold the highest standards of safety and compliance in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Duties
- Conduct regular inspections of aircraft systems and components to identify any issues or required maintenance.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs on various aircraft systems.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track maintenance schedules and documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to resolve complex technical issues.
Skills
- Proficiency in aircraft maintenance practices.
- Prior experience performing maintenance on corporate turbine-powered business jets (i.e. any combination of Citations, Hawkers, Gulfstreams, Challengers, Global Express, Beechjets, etc.)
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License
- Valid US Driver's License
- Strong skills in using hand tools and power tools for assembly, disassembly, and repair tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
