Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and certified A&P Mechanic to join our team in San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge and expertise in aircraft maintenance and a commitment to safety and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on commercial aircraft.
- Conduct inspections, troubleshoot issues, and perform repairs on airframe and powerplant systems.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and engineering documents.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to perform maintenance tasks.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with FAA regulations and company standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of maintenance tasks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical school training preferred.
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working on commercial aircraft.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, maintenance procedures, and FAA regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
