Job Title: A & P MechanicJob DescriptionPrimary responsibility is to complete C Check on experimental (R & D) testbed B727 Aircraft which our client manages for Raytheon. Duties will include but are not limited to the following:
- Visual Inspection of Aircraft Exterior
- Functional checks on aircraft systems
- Lubrication
- Structural inspection
- Fluid level check
- Tire and brake check
- Avionics system check
- Flight control check
- Engine check
- Interior refurbishment
Job Type
This is a contract position with a duration of 4 Month(s).
Contract is scheduled to run until 4/30/25 but there is a possibility it will be done sooner. There is a bonus for successful completion of contract. Upon the end of the contract, contractors will receive $2hr for every straight time hour worked.
Per diem is available for non-local candidates. The per diem package is the following:
- Pay rate: $26.50hr - $36.50hr
- Daily per diem: $188 a day (5 days)
- Overtime pay rate: $67.50hr - $82.50hr
Local Pay Rate: $45 - $55 an hour (taxed)
Candidates will receive Holiday pay. They will be closed for the Federal Holidays to include Christmas Eve
Skills & Qualifications
- Min 3 years experience in an MRO or Part 121 facility
- A&P license
- Experience on wide body aircraft
- Experience with maintenance manuals and software
- Ability to be vetting for Raytheon BGV check and Ontario Airport badging
- Must have the basic tools (Specialty tools will be provided)
Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Ontario, California.
Work Environment
Work will be performed in a hangar at Ontario Airport. The first week will involve completing their indoc program and some training.
There are two shifts: Monday - Friday 6am - 2:30pm, Monday - Friday 2pm - 10:30pm. Candidates will ideally be open to both shifts. Some weekends and Saturdays may be required.

- (5) Mechanics - start date 12/18
- (5) Mechanics - start date 1/2
- (10) Mechanics - start date 1/15
