Warehouse Assembler

Job Description

Efficiently unload and load packages from freight trucks to cargo containers. Assemble the packages inside of the cargo container to maximize space and fit maximum packages.

- Unload and load packages onto cargo containers from trucks. Trucks will come in and packages will already be loaded on carts.

- Break down and remove packages from the carts and load them into cargo containers for airline transportation.

- Assemble items “Tetris style” to maximize package occupancy in cargo container.

- Small boxes and mail will be put into larger bags then put on the cargo container.

- Maintain accurate inventory records using scanning and tracking systems.

- Follow safety protocols and conduct quality control checks.

- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively.

Need to be fully flexible for day or night shift. MUST be open to working weekends. Days off vary according to needs and schedule.

Schedule changes every 90 days.

This is a fully on-site position in Sacramento, California.

Work Environment

Graveyard: Between 9pm – 12am start time (Must be open to working Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

Morning: 5am to 8am start time (Must be open to working Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

Must be open on schedule, will work weekends - schedule will be selected during orientation on the second day.
