As a Tool Crib Assistant II, you will receive, store, and issue our tools, machine tool fixtures, dies, and measuring devices. Youll be responsible for cleaning, oiling, and performing minor repairs on our tools and equipment and tracking surplus or obsolete equipment. Must-haves:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 2 or more years of relevant experience
- A higher level degree may substitute for experience
- Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
- Basic understanding of the use, maintenance, and repair of a variety of hand/power tools and tooling equipment
- Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills
- Basic understanding of Inventory and Supply Chain/Logistics principles and techniques
- Experience with inventory databases
- Current/ valid passport and be able to obtain a visa to travel internationally
- Successfully pass a pre-deployment medical assessment
- Willing to deploy OCONUS on an approximate 90/90 or 90/45 rotation
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
Preferred:
- Familiarity with AvPro or similar aviation maintenance tracking systems
- HazMat Training/Certification
- Ability to operate a Forklift
- Experience with shipping databases, such as FedEx, DHL, UPS
- Current Commercial Drivers License (CDL) and clean driving record
- Understanding of Shelf Life, Classified, COMSEC items
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military
