KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Establish and drive procurement of material and services in support of businessrequirements
Experience with US Government purchasing procedures and practices
Procurement activities including RFQ processes, supplier selection, purchaseorder placement, monitoring shipment and services and supplier performance
Act as main point of contact for suppliers
Work with internal team on requirements, need dates and work to supportprojects and businesses
Ensure that the suppliers are acknowledging orders immediately and accuratelywithin established lead-times
The annual base salary for thisposition is $80,000.00 - $100,000.00. Please note that this salary informationserves as a general guideline. Must Haves
5+ years of procurement experience
3+ years of experience in Systems Applications and Products in Data Processing(SAP) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
3+ years of FAR Part 15 Government Buying experience

Bachelors Degree BS or BA, preferably in Business Administration, Supply ChainManagement, Contract Administration.
Experience with subcontract compliance with Public Laws, Policies, FederalAcquisition Regulations (FAR/DFAR), and ITAR and import/export requirements.
Experience in leading formal negotiations (price, schedule and supplierexceptions to contractual flow down requirements, as well as standard Terms andConditions)
Ability to prepare and issue RFQs (requests for quotes) to suppliers, follow-upto assure understanding.
Review quotes, analyze results and determine negotiation plans / strategies aswell as addressing any exceptions to flow downs, specifications, quality notesor Honeywell terms and conditions requirements.
Expedite orders when required to ensure on-time shipments.
Able to quickly understand processes and ensure adherence to the same.
Must be able to deploy a systematic approach to work and must have an aptitudefor performing work functions in a timely and well-organized manner withlimited oversight.
Adapt to constantly changing work assignments, consistently make timelydecisions while balancing conflicting goals with decisiveness in an ambiguousenvironment.
